Its History

This commonly grown mushroom originates from the Southern most tip of Africa. The original magic mushrooms were collected in January 2002 in Transkei, in the Wild Coast region of South Africa. The magic mushrooms were growing directly on dung in the shade of trees. Sitting atop its small, skinny stem is a golden-bright cap that is ready to take you on a journey into the deepest parts of your mind.

Its Species

The Afrikans belong in the Psilocybe Cubensis species of psychedelic mushroom. The main psychoactive elements in this species are psilocybin and psilocin. As a rule of thumb, Psilocybe Cubensis strains contain approximately 0.63% psilocybin and 0.60% psilocin. This means, that for every  one gram of mushrooms, there will be anywhere from 5-20 milligrams of psilocybin and psilocin.
